This page explains how vanuiq.com handles personal data, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, for visitors in the EU, the GDPR.
Who is responsible

What this website does not do
It sets no cookies, uses no analytics and no tracking of any kind, and has no forms. It loads nothing from third parties: the fonts, images and scripts are served from this website itself.
If you email us
The only personal data we receive through this website is what you choose to put in an email to hello@vanuiq.com: usually your name, your email address, your company and what you write. We use it to answer you and, if you ask for one, to arrange a walkthrough. We keep it for as long as the conversation and any business relationship that follows need it, and longer only where the law requires. For visitors in the EU, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, or taking steps towards a contract you ask for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and (b)).
Our email is handled in Google Workspace, so Google processes these messages for us. Google may process data outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. To deliver a page, Vercel’s servers process the technical data of your request, such as your IP address, the page requested and the time, and may keep them in logs, as described in Vercel’s privacy notice. Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, its UK Extension and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the EU and Switzerland recognise companies certified under these frameworks as providing adequate protection. We do not use these data to identify anyone. For visitors in the EU, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering and securing the website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
One preference stored in your browser
If you click “Pause background motion” at the top of the home page, your browser stores one entry in its local storage, named vanuiq-motion, so that your choice is remembered on your next visit. It is written only when you click that control, it stays on your device, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete it by clearing this website’s data in your browser.
The Vanuiq application
The product application at app.vanuiq.com has its own privacy notice, which applies when you use it.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing, by writing to hello@vanuiq.com. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the EU, to the data protection authority where you live.
